To all the fearless patriots,
we have occupied the shahbag square for a reason. this is not the time to get into dirty politics and brainless controversies. this is not the time for constant hatching of new conspiracy theories. some people will always be against this unified protest. but ask yourself, are you one of them? aren't we here to demand the highest possible penalty for the war criminals under Bangladesh law? aren't we united to demand the banning of religion based politics? aren't we gathered to boycott jamat-shibir driven organizations?
about the recent conspiracy theories: on the one hand all of them can be true on the other, nothing can be true. but is that any of your business? as long as your purpose is served, as long as your demands are fulfilled, you don't need to care about anything else. why do you care whether the protest is backed by AL or BNP or whether it is backed by anyone at all or not. you should only care about your purpose of being at the protest and how the purpose is being served.
and yes, for those who have issues against '71 sentiment, for your kind information, of course the movement is serving '71 sentiment. there wouldn't have been so may people at the protest if it didn't serve the '71 sentiment. 71 sentiment is not someone's father's property. we all carry and nurture it inside.
i'm not into party politics. i can't analyze politics. i don't know, and i don't care whether rajib was killed because he was an atheist or not. i only care about the protest. its my blind faith that rajib's death will not go in vain. and i'm sure if you think clearly you'll also be able to regain faith in the protest.
