It all started with the line from the song, ‘colors of the wind’…
(colors of the wind):
but still i cannot see,
if the savage one is me... how can there be so much that you don't know....!!!
(anupam):
but i can see,
light of sea,
when the crowd fades out, stands lonely me.....!!!!!
(twisha):
but if you see closely,
you'll find warmth only...
the whole universe is surrounding you truly,
with all its intensity, not to let you be lonely...
(anupam):
But that warmth is only inception,
to be lonely in a ocean of crowd…
now or never, the truth is not to mention.....
(twisha):
i say, embrace the inception,
welcome the illusion,
at least you'll have the warm delusion...
slowly you'll slip into the realization,
that the inception is created by your own imagination...
(anupam):
to embrace the illusion,
is not the ultimate solution,
poor oh you, yet looking for the meaning of life,
ask me, it's nothing, has no definition.....
(twisha):
darling, not looking for the definition...
just you do the contemplation,
let it lead you to the introspection,
you might discover a new vision...
(anupam):
then drop the debate and give a try,
she will forgive me by and by,
but truth or illusion does it matter?
I know it won't be better,
life has become sour to me,
without her how can I be....
___________________________________________________
(twisha):
without her how can you be?
ask thyself oh poor thee.
things are better now, can you see?
she's been replaced by the new 'she'.
(anupam):
now, don't call me a poor one,
let's do what needs to be done,
give me all your sweet love,
like i'm a trap, you be a dove,
be a half or more of me,
I LOVE YOU my sweet thee.

ReplyDeleteit makes more sense when its one poem instead of many small ones. it makes sense as a whole. people can interpret it anyway they want to... as a debate with oneself or with another. its also funny how twisha is all bubbly and optimistic about life while anupam only wants to die.
ReplyDeletetwisha is awesome.... thakur must die!!!! i couldn't care less but i think twisha is better.... because honesty doesn't work... i don't want to be spit on... i don't want to be rubaid
ReplyDeleteDear Onoopom
ReplyDeleteI'm filled with revulsion,
by your poetic compulsion,
your marriage obsession,
is your greatest delusion,
If she's with you now,
I pity her situation,
but if she's left you for good,
it'll be better for the wood,
I wish it were true,
that your rhymes were more blue,
but having just read it,
it's just total Sh*t
There is no competition,
Twisha's was better,
This ain't mere opinion,
You should stick with the love letter.
